The data model behind Notion's flexibility

Changing the type of a block doesn’t change the block’s properties or content — it only changes the type attribute. The information is just rendered differently, or even ignored if the property isn’t used by that block type.

数据库分组

不建议将启用分组的视图作为数据库的首个视图：

• 无法搜索未展开分组（Show ? more groups）内页面，对于无法使用全局搜索中按页面筛选功能的访客尤其不便
• 分组在页面加载后延迟进行，造成卡顿、布局偏移，尤见于（访客）首次访问、低性能设备

@mention

• 不建议 @mention 专有名词作标题的页面，会影响搜索和 backlink
• Simple table 中 @mention 页面不会产生 backlink
• @mention 页面产生的文字只能在 linked database 中用 filter 搜索
  • 在 source database 中用 filter 无效
  • 搜索框本地搜索可用，但会被空服务器搜索结果代替

链接 Paste as Mention

与普通链接相比有局限性，谨慎使用：

• 无法全局搜索
• 页内搜索会高亮整个链接
• GitHub 等支持定制预览的站点无法使用通用预览
