I was hired as a product designer back in 2018. I am assigned to the team of several developers and a product manager. We are responsible for the delivery of various new products and maintaining the old ones. We approach every project with agile methodology and work in 2-week sprints.

My first project was called Dynamic Bundles which solve the problem of making powerful dynamic collections for eCommerce platforms in just a few clicks. With product manager, we talked with our clients to learn more about their needs. After we had a clearer picture of what our clients want we started to map out the solution — from whiteboard to Figma. We used prototyping capabilities within Figma to test our hypothesis with the inner team and some clients. Once we had satisfied results we proceeded with handoff with developers and iterated along the way as we learned more.

The next project I was assigned is a very complex, unique, solution for personalising and merchandising category pages on webshops. We researched for a few months before starting with sketching the solution. It took many iterations and calls with clients but we came up with extremely flexible yet simple to use enterprise tool that fits every store. I was also helping with coding as the project was very demanding and we needed every pair of hands available.

Apart from regular projects I am assigned to, I took the initiative when it comes to scaling our design system. I have been encouraging improvements over the year adding Slack notifications, better documentation and other tweaks that made our lives easier.
