Joust is looking for a content creator who can capture that certain magic of easy laughter, playful competition, and clinking glasses.

What’s Joust?

Joust hosts upscale game nights (yes, we call them ‘play parties’) in beautiful spaces for fun-loving people who want to meet others through play.

We are a hospitality business that aspires to become the Time Left or So Far Sounds for “competitive socialization”. Playing together is a crucial part of our happiness and should be available to us whenever we want. It’s how we made friends as children after all… so why not as adults too?

After hosting 1000+ players with our partners like The Standard Hotel, Arlo, and Moxy Hotels, we are ready to host plenty more! And for that, we need to get the word out.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for our voice box, our amplifier, our illustrious Content Creator.

We won’t overcomplicate the details. We need someone who KNOWS short-form video like it’s their lover. They can post playfully, post well, and post often.

While it may not go down exactly like the following, we envisioned this role as one that grows over time.

Phase 1 - Editor: Post on TikTok and Instagram using footage you record at Joust + our existing bank of content

Phase 2 - Producer: Create original content, pitch ideas, go crazy with it!

Phase 3 - Creative: Expand the base we built together on IG/TikTok to others (long-form, newsletter, podcasts, whatever makes sense for the company at that time)

To be 100% clear, we are prioritizing someone who can crush it at Phase 1 FIRST. But also want to let you know we’re thinking ahead of what this role could become.
