The Nigerian Police Force is seeking young, intelligent, and self-disciplined individuals to join the force. The application process starts in January 2019.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 28 years old on date 01/01/2019 with a minimum qualification requirement of SSCE Certificate or its equivalent in any discipline from recognized institutions. Candidates are expected to be free from any criminal records.
Applicants for the Nigerian Police Force Recruitment must reside in Nigeria but not more than two years before or after their application date. Applicants should also have good knowledge of the English Language and possess the ability to communicate effectively with both superiors and subordinates in a clear, lucid, and precise language. This is because most of the police force work is in the English Language.
The application process will consist of an online examination, written and practical tests with medicals. The highest scorers at this stage shall be invited for oral interviews which may commence as early as February 2019 depending on how many applicants apply by January 31st, 2019.
Applicants are also required to submit their passport photographs.
The Nigerian Police Force offers attractive remuneration package for officers including housing, feeding, and transportation allowance. After successful completion of training in Nigeria, new police recruits are posted to various parts of the country. According to the 2018 Federal Government Budget approved by President Muhammadu Buhari, each Nigerian Police officer will be paid a minimum monthly salary of N18, 000.
