Python

My preferred tool for data analysis and visualization. My projects usually include data wrangling, exploratory analysis, aggregation, modelling & visualizing the results. I can work comfortably with popular libraries for data science such as: numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, and scikit-learn.

SQL

I am able to write advanced queries to organize, clean and extract data and have had moderate experience working with SQL Server. I have also frequently applied SQL queries in Google Sheets, and can combine SQL with Python for maximum productivity as well.

Excel / Sheets

I have 6 months of practical experience in analyzing data and building dashboards using Google Sheets. My usage of these spreadsheet tools mainly consists of advanced formulas and functions, as well as drawing various types of charts.

Tableau / IBM Cognos

I am familiar with building basic interactive dashboards using IBM Cognos and Tableau.

Making a Tableau Dashboard that Automatically Updates Data (using Python, SQL and Google Sheets)

In this project, I used Python to automate the entire data update process that includes:

  1. Download and manipulate the data
  2. Import the data into SQL Server
  3. Query from SQL Server database and save query results to a Google Sheets

And make a dashboard that will automatically refresh with new COVID-19 data on a daily basis.
