• Pro Tip: We highly recommend a DIY picnic by the lake. Make sure to buy snacks early in the day at Four Square, as it is the only supermarket in the area and things get sold out by afternoon.

Mt. Cook (1 Day)

• Must-visit (stopovers): Lake Pukaki, MT Cook Alpine Salmon Shop, drive to Aoraki - Tapataia Mahaka Peter's Lookout, Mount Cook & Tasman River Lookout.
• Activities to try: Hooker Valley hike, Mueller Hut hike with optional overnight Mueller Hut overnight stay (need to book this in advance), Tasman Glacier kayaking
