Welcome to the Spectrum Yearbook! Our organization is one of the oldest on campus, and has a rich and long history! Above is our current staff who helped produce the 2024-2025 Yearbook, which was our Editor’s first time producing a book in her career at Gettysburg. We are a lively bunch and meetings among the staff never end up boring!

Our Editor-in-Chief (bottom row, middle) is Piper! She is a Gender Studies, Public Policy double major and English minor and has been Editor for 2 years. She can be found all over campus and will accept new members with open arms and an open mind! She is thrilled to introduce new staff and will help to find your passion amongst the team.

The Editors above all run different sections for the book, which include student life, sports, academics, clubs, and more! Stop by our weekly meetings to see us in action as we plan the yearbook!

Yearbook is a fantastic experience to be apart of during your time at Gettysburg College. With roots in journalism, graphic design, photography, and media literacy, Yearbook is a great way to hone your skills in the arts, communications, and even marketing! Even if you have no experience in those fields, no experience is even needed! You will be taught the basics of our online design program, how to use a camera, how to write headers and captions, and more!

Each section in the book is unique and is approached in very different ways design and management wise; some sections will need more help than others, some will need deep research, and some might be extremely tedious! As the year goes on, managing your school work, social life, and yearbook work can become difficult but not impossible! Asking for help is always encouraged, and every month, our Editor-in-Chief sets time aside for everyone to meet to get work done in bulk; during this time, we usually listen to music or watch movies!
