1. Acute poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis (APSGN)
2. Rapidly progressive (Crescentric) glomerulonephritis (RPGN)
   1. Goodpasture syndrome (type 1 RPGN)
   2. type 2 RPGN = immune complex-mediated disease
   3. Granulomatosis with polyangitis (Wegener) (type 3 RPGN, pauciimmune)
   4. Microscopic polyangitis
3. Diffuse Proliferative Glomerulonephritis
4. IgA Nephropathy (Berger disease)
5. Alport Syndrome
6. Membrano-proliferative Glomerulonephritis (MPGN)

APSGN

can be asymptomatic

if symptomatic:

• gross hematuria
• edema
• hypertension

Urinalysis:

• protein, + blood, +/- RBC casts

Serum:

• low C3 with or without low C4
• increased serum creatinine
• increased anti-DNase B & increased AHase (antihyaluronidase)
