Narcis ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Narcis app ("the App").
2a. Facial Photographs When you use the facial analysis feature, your photo is captured on your device and temporarily transmitted to Anthropic's AI API (api.anthropic.com) solely to generate your beauty profile. We do not store, retain, or have access to your photos on our own servers. The photo is discarded after analysis. The photo is processed in real-time and permanently deleted within seconds of receiving the analysis response. No face photo is retained beyond the duration of a single API call.
2b. Beauty Profile Data The text-based beauty profile generated from your analysis is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device except when you explicitly use features requiring AI processing (product analysis, chat), in which case relevant profile text is sent to Anthropic's API. This profile contains 24 text-based parameters: skin tone, skin undertone, skin texture, sun sensitivity, eye color, eye shape, eye spacing, under-eye area, eyelid type, hair color, hair type, face shape, forehead width, jaw line, nose shape, nose width, cheek structure, cheekbone height, lip shape, lip fullness, brow shape, brow thickness, seasonal color type, and overall balance. This data is stored solely on the user's device via AsyncStorage and can be permanently deleted at any time via Settings → Delete My Profile.
2c. Biometric Data Our facial analysis feature processes biometric facial data, including facial geometry and features. This processing occurs through Anthropic's AI API solely to generate your personalized beauty profile. We do not build or maintain a biometric database. By using the facial analysis feature, you explicitly consent to this processing.
2d. Purchase Information In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, Inc. We do not store payment card information.
2e. Usage Data We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage data beyond what is stored locally on your device.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose.
Your beauty profile and all app data are stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time from Settings → Delete My Profile. This action is irreversible and removes all locally stored data. We have no data stored on our servers to delete on your behalf.
