Know the lingo.

FIAT MONEY- is a currency (a medium of exchange) established as money, often by government regulation- The term fiat derives from the Latin word fiat, meaning "let it be done"
NFT- Non Fungible Token
Open Edition - For a specific amount of time (usually 2 – 15 minutes), an unlimited amount of NFTs can be purchased. This could result in 0 purchases or thousands.
Limited Edition - 1 of 5 or 1 of 50-
Ether - Ethereum ETH
Mint- The process of creating an NFT, writing into the blockchain, usually requires "gas" fees to power the network to write the block(s) of code. Comes for the term to "mint" a coin.
Genesis- An artists first NFT
Gas- The transaction fee you pay on the blockchain network to make a transaction or Mint.
Staking- when you hold your coins for inetrest.
dApp- decentralized App
