3) DYSLEXIA (and Dyscalculia, A.D.H.D., A.D.D., Autism Level 1 (Asperger’s Syndrome), Dyspraxia and Dysgraphia) SPECIALIST COUNSELLOR and Group in UK:

Pennie Aston at GroOops:

"I am a keynote speaker, counsellor, coach, trainer and supervisor specializing in addressing the emotional repercussions of Dyslexia.  I am the creator of the Dyslexia Aware Counselling and Coaching Approach, am dyslexic myself and have raised a dyslexic family.

My specialization and interest in dyslexia* aware therapy comes from my personal and professional experience of being an un-diagnosed dyslexic person subject to professional conduct procedures.  It has given me an exceptional understanding of the emotional repercussions of hidden disability and the needs and dynamics of people and organizations (and the relationships and structures within which they function) - plus the challenges that can arise when secondary presentations of Dyslexia are not fully understood both by the person and society at large."

"All too often dyslexics are not aware of the nature of their problems. Many are highly intelligent and the wide range of difficulties they meet causes them to experience an assortment of disagreeable emotions and lack of ability to develop strategies to deal with them. Consequently, they may have to take time out because of stress.  In these circumstances difficulties remain hidden. Sometimes the level of anxiety caused by these feelings is so great that sufferers are unable to face going to work at all."
