At Neon Anarchy, we are establishing Guidelines documents to help ensure a safe and transparent environment for all who join our mission to build and maintain a sustainable Living Community.
The purpose of this Guidelines document is to help mediate expectations for the daily operations, core values, and overall culture around the InterPersonal Department.
These Guidelines are subject to modification from time to time by the Council.
The Quick Version
Members of IP team are expected to encourage and strategize around inclusivity and [good vibez] as a means of augmenting the resiliency of our Community. Furthermore, background diversity is celebrated and is necessary for a healthy environment. As a group of individuals expected to act together to achieve the above mission, all members and participants must act with their fullest integrity to ensure our collective integrity.
The Less Quick Version
Role

Furthermore:
- IP should be advocates for the members and a friendly face. They are meant to represent and present the perspective of the players that often the mods fail to see.
- IPs purpose is not to moderate the mods but act as lawyers for the community.
- If mods are the public prosecutor. IP is the defending lawyer and Admin the judge
- The only reason IP is placed above Moderation is so that IP can maintain confidentiality and cannot be subjected to moderation for simply doing their job. However, that doesn't give IP any power whatsoever over Moderation.
- Unless it's specifically involved resolving an ongoing conflict, IP are neither investigators nor prosecutors.
Goals
- Facilitating [good vibez]
NA IP's mission is to facilitate the [good vibez] in the LC by coordinating and cultivating projects that promote safety, reliability, healthy interactions, and open access while helping avoid the appropriation of our shared space by patterns or actions detrimental to the other members. All members and participants are anticipated to embrace and assume responsibility for this mission.
- Integrity
Integrity — or self-accountability — is indispensable to NA and NA IP's mission of creating a shared space to play Shadowrun with [good vibez]. The level of success within the LC will be correlated to the level of trust reached between participants. All staff are expected to act with the highest level of integrity. In striving to create a healthy and sustainable space, and acknowledging a greater purpose than self-service, NA participants pledge to follow the Code of Conduct at the bottom of this very document.
- Background Diversity
Diversity contributes to ecosystem stability, which allows effective distress withstanding. Holding diversity as a fundamental value, NA will perpetually grow its network of people, resources, and tools designed to help facilitate the enjoyment of Shadowrun ttRPG. NA celebrates multiple approaches and points of view and hopes to inspire a community that is diverse in its membership, proposals, opinions, and economic backgrounds. All qualified candidates will receive consideration for work or participation without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, culture, political viewpoints, or veteran status. NA is committed to building a diverse community of participants because it makes the LC stronger.
