Installing and Logging Into MyChart

MyChart is an application used to manage and maintain your health information from your personal digital device. It allows users to see all of their medications, test results, upcoming appointments, medical bills, price estimates, and more all in one place. Furthermore, MyChart enables users to share medical records with anyone who needs them. MyChart also lets users schedule appointments from the convenience of their digital device no matter where they are, communicate with providers through the app, and stay on top of family members.

  1. To download the app, first navigate to the App Store and type in “MyChart” into the search bar. The application has a picture of a red folder. From there, press download to download the app to your device. Once the application finished downloading, go ahead and open the app.

When you open the app for the first time, you will be met with a series of questions asking if you would like to turn on notifications, share your location, and add the organization that provides your healthcare. To add “True Health,” either search for the organization by typing “True Health” in the search box or if you have a QR code, scan the QR code and “True Health” will pop up. Next, click on “True Health” so that it has a blue check mark in the right-hand corner check box and is shaded blue.

  1. After you have selected “True Health,” click “Add selected organization” at the bottom of your screen. You will then be led to a screen asking you to either sign up or sign in if you already have an account. To make an account, click “Sign up” to be led to a page asking you to identify yourself. If you already have an account, continue to “Step 6”

  2. Once reaching the page to sign up, type in the 15 digit MyChart activation code your provider shoud have given you. It should appear on your enrollment letter or your After Visit Summay. Next type in an email address that you check frequently. After that, type in your date of birth.

  3. Once you have filled in all the proper information, you will be taken to your MyChart health page.

  4. If you already have an account, continue to sign in with your MyChart Username and Password to and click Log In to be taken to your MyChart health page.

  5. In the case that you have a passkey, click “Log in with Passkey” and input your passkey into the submission field and navigate to your MyChart health page.

Once your MyChart account is set up and you’ve logged in, here are some of the main features you can use:

Home Screen Overview

When you log in, you’ll see a dashboard with important information at a glance:

Upcoming Appointments: See your scheduled visits and check in online.

Recent Messages: View secure messages from your healthcare team.

Health Reminders: Alerts for flu shots, annual checkups, or test results.
