Softball is a game that calls for courage, persistence, confidence, flexibility, and accuracy. Most importantly, it is teamwork, and no one wins or loses alone. I started playing softball when I joined the Tongji Softball Team in 2011. There, I met many kind and talented people, and I developed a strong sense of belonging. I feel lucky and proud that I made it through so many difficulties, because my more than five-year softball journey brought me the most beautiful scenery, both around me and within myself. I have played different positions, including shortstop, second base, center field, and pitcher. Many stories have marked those years, and they still brighten my life and my team.

Let me tell you a few of them.

The beginning

I joint Tongji Softball Team on 2011. The team was built in 2008 with only few girls. Their passion attracted our coach and it grew bigger and bigger with the effort of many people.

Year after year

We always play together in the first day of a new year. Running on the grass with friends is the most pure happiness I have after I grew up.

Family

This picture was taken in my birthday party. I was the captain at that time. I love my team, and we are just a family.

Hitting

hitting is one of the most difficult part in softball because it calls for a strong heart as well as great skills.

Home run!

The destination of a hitter is the home base. Sending your teammates home is always the greatest honor.
