wtf: what’s the flow?
Breadboards and short hand use flows, part a crucial role that wireframes can’t satisfy. They focus on flow, structure, functionality
UX should be
aiming for a micro outcome that is crucial to a team or company macro outcome, which allows for experimentation, to deal with a blocker to that outcome. Success shouldnt be to “simply to build feature X.” It’s about what feature x needs to achieve, and why it needs to achieve that. What greater outcome it would contribute to.
the Research question (what you want to learn) should be different to the survey or interview question
Research Questions Are Not Interview Questions
study customer behaviour, not opinions
usability testing, tests usability not usefulness
