Do I have to peel the skin?
Yes and No. It depends on the age of your ginger. Ginger skin thickens over time and becomes bitter, so young ginger roots generally taste better.
And since we are taking shots and shred the ingredients into little cute pieces, you actually don't need to peel it. I personally remove all the skin from every ingredient, except turmeric to avoid any bitter taste.
