You might have heard of the phrase “Carpe Diem” before and while it simply means “Seize the day” in Latin, a lot of people will think about this movie upon hearing those words.

Dead Poets Society is a movie from 1989 featuring Robin Williams and Robert Sean Leonard. It is about a New England prep school where a group of teenage boys get a new English teacher who has some unorthodox methods to teach the boys about a lot more than English.

I only watched this recently while I should have watched it way sooner since I kinda already knew the plot, but watching it for real made me see what of a cinematic masterpiece this is. In my books it’s deffinatly concidered a classic and people who love literature, poetry, teaching, fall, drama,… litteraly everyone, should watch this movie.

While I love Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal, the first gladiator movie is still the better one. This is one of those movies you watch one time but stay with you forever. Another cinematic masterpiece featuring Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix and Connie Nielsen.

Gladiator takes place in Ancient Rome and shows us the corrupt ways of dealing with things in that time. Beautiful scenes, inspiring quotes and stunningly filmed battles, this movie has it all.

I watched this movie because I was asked to watch the second one in the theatre and let me tell you, I cried in my kitchen multiple times. Another one of those movies that change how you look at life (at least for me) and another must watch.

Okay, hear me out! The first Pixar Cars movie is one of my all time favorite Disney - Pixar movies. Something just hits different while watching this movie. I also think it’s why I’m into F1 right now. Owen Wilson as the cocky red race car Lightning McQueen changed something in me.

When rookie race car Lightning McQueen faces some ‘technical backlash’ right before his big race he learns how to look at life a different way and meets other cars with interesting stories.

My brother was OBSESSED with this movie when he was younger so I watched this no joke 50 times already and I will never grow tired of it even at the ripe age of 22.
