As a full-stack product designer who's worked in-house in startups and companies and freelance managing a large number of projects, I have the expertise to bridge the gap between hiring an in-house designer and engaging an agency. I can embed myself in product teams to solve complex problems with you and your team, as well as provide that outside perspective that's often needed to ask the right questions and deliver the solutions that were just out of reach for you.

I’ll help you define what to build (and why).

Too often companies skip this very important step of any product. They may even try winging it because they’re so eager to get started. I work with stakeholders to find a unified idea of what we’re building, for whom, and why.

I’ll design how it looks and how it works.

Most designers just focus on how things look, but if your product doesn’t work the way your users expect it to, it's not going to be a success. My background in both design, development and business puts me in an ideal position to help you take your digital products from so-so to great.

Following the Design Thinking methodology

It’s extremely useful in tackling complex problems that are ill-defined or unknown, by understanding the human needs involved, re-framing the problem in human-centric ways, creating many ideas in brainstorming sessions, and adopting a hands-on approach in prototyping and testing.

Empathy & Define Phases

Requirements gathering

The project starts with calls & sessions with you, your team and customers and emails and documents to identify the problem we're solving for.

Research

I research the competitive landscape and identifying any other tools or workflows people are currently using to solve the problem, as well as look at similar solutions that may exist across other industries.

Writing

Write out user intentions and specific actions in order to establish the types of problems we're solving from a human-centered perspective.
