A multi-level choice field provides the ability to define a cascading selection of choices with a parent-child relationship. We can best describe this relation using an example of a Country-State-City relationship. When a user selects the Country from the top level, another level becomes available to select a State, and then another level for City selection.

When adding a Multi-level choice field, select that option for the Type field.

Enter a Title for the custom field. This is not visible to the user.

Next, enter an option Description. This can be a simple explanation of the field. This can be a simple instruction to the user and is visible to them.

In this example, the user will select from three different levels: Country, State, and City.

You will define the actual Choices that are displayed for each level. Each choice is entered on its own line and indented based on the level

Next, you will name the levels for the selections. The level names are visible to the user and are the names for each dropdown list.

On the ticket form, the multi-level choice fields open up, one level at a time for selection from the dropdown list.
