Moring ("we," "our," or "the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to deliver morning alarms and personalized briefings.

Identifiers

• Device Identifier (IDFV): Apple's per-vendor device ID, used to create an anonymous account on first launch (no manual sign-up).
• Apple User Identifier: Provided by Apple Sign in, only when you subscribe. Used to restore your account on a new device.

Contact

• Email Address: Only if you choose to share it during Apple Sign in. Apple's "Hide My Email" relay address is treated the same as a real one.

Profile

• Nickname: Your chosen display name, used in your morning briefings.
• Locale & Timezone: Read from your device, used to schedule alarms and select brief language.

Location

• Approximate Location (latitude/longitude): Used solely to fetch local weather. We store coordinates rounded to ~1 km precision and a city name (e.g. "Seoul, KR"). Location is collected only when you grant permission and is never tracked in the background.

Subscription

• Purchase Status: Synced from Apple via RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card details.

We do not collect: contacts, photos, browsing history, health data, microphone audio, or any data used to track you across apps or websites.
