The EigenSpace program is a refined version of what we have learned works well for founders. It isn't something we entirely made up by observing programs, we have developed the best programs in Canada for 15 years now.
Milestones or objectives are at the core of what we do. In collaboration with you we work towards developing a cadence that matches expectations that the global market would expect. That takes longer than 12 weeks, in most cases, to develop.
Our program is broken into three phases and is designed to put the founder first:
Beyond your company's success, we want to develop a strong sense of community around the program that will inform us on how to develop our venture practice.
The first two weeks are meant to give you an idea of who we are and we can get an idea of who you are. This involves meeting the team chats, two workshops:
<aside> 💲 Understanding venture and the capital that fuels it — deep dive into the math behind VCs, timelines, and things they don't tell you about your valuation and expectations it represents.
<aside> 👨👨👧👧 Your success is your team — employment of founders, employees, and all the different things to consider. We will get into how decisions early play out as a company grows.
This intro period allows us to refine the next 8 weeks. We can adjust who we have speaking based on who you and your business are.
The EigenSpace program will be a 9-week-long program. We’ll meet once a week for 2 hours. (Exact timing tbd, but it will likely be late afternoon or early evening ET on a weekday).
The sessions will not be recorded to increase candid conversation with founders and guest speakers, so attendance is mandatory. There is no cost to participate. Each session will consist of two main pieces:
<aside> 👩🏽🏫 Lecture style workshop: Each lecture will focus on an essential piece of building a successful company (e.g., Product, Business Model, Culture)
<aside> 🔥 Fireside chat and Q&A: We’ll bring in amazing guest speakers to chat with the class about their experiences, struggles, and future goals. Before each workshop, we’ll recommend a few online resources to help you prepare (readings, podcasts, etc.).
By the end of week 12 we transition to a less intense coaching role with monthly scheduled meetings that will focus on your objectives and the progress in achieving them. You will be invited to the next cohort's Fireside chats but attendance isn't expected.
