Therefore, we take the following steps to recognize and reduce our biases in the hiring process.
We at Pina do our best to unravel and identify our unconscious biases through open conversation in the team and further education.
We use a Gender Decoder to check for stereotypical gendered words in our job descriptions and try to neutralize and balance them.
We work with a standardized interview procedure and evaluation matrix to focus on the factors that really matter to us - factors that contribute to Pina's success.
As part of Pina's social impact strategy, we aim to have at least 1/3 of all employees and at least 1 investment board member from an underrepresented group. These goals help us to keep diversity at the top of our minds.
In order to enable our team members to celebrate their culture, each person can take an extra day off for the most important festivity or holiday in their culture.
If you have any feedback or ideas how we can even further reduce our biases in the hiring process, we are happy to hear from you. Just drop us a message at ✉️ team@pina.earth.
