Part 1: Privacy Policy
1. Introduction Welcome to MoodFlow ("we," "our," or "us"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This combined Privacy Policy and Terms of Service explains how we handle your information and the rules for using our App.
2. Data Ownership & Storage (Important)
- Local Storage: MoodFlow is a privacy-first application. All your mood entries, notes, and statistics are stored locally on your device.
- No Cloud Uploads by Us: We do not operate a backend server to store your personal mood data. We cannot access, read, or share your personal entries.
- iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud synchronization, your data is stored in your personal iCloud container, managed and secured by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
3. Information We Collect
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., crash reports, feature usage statistics) to help us improve the App's stability and performance. This data cannot be used to identify you or reveal your personal mood entries.
- Device Information: Basic device information (model, OS version) may be collected for compatibility purposes.
4. Third-Party Services We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not display third-party advertisements.
5. Children's Privacy Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Part 2: Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms By downloading or using MoodFlow, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the App.
2. Data Loss & Backup Responsibility
- Your Responsibility: Since MoodFlow stores data locally or in your personal iCloud, you are solely responsible for backing up your data.
- Data Loss: We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from:
- Deleting the App without a backup.
- Device loss or damage.
- Failure of Apple's iCloud service.
- Software bugs or errors.
- Recommendation: We strongly recommend enabling iCloud backup or regularly exporting your data (if the feature is available) to prevent data loss.
