TASK DESCRIPTION:

Request from social media to have alerts for 2 situations

• when one of the posts is growing quickly (high difference in key metric from one day to the other)
• when posts are doing well overall (the key metrics reach a critical level)

We will work with the raw data sheet for social media posts

Need to identify (see table for further detail) :

• Key metric (suggestions: overall engagement, likes, shares)

• critic level

• Regarding automation of the script:

  1. server or AWS lambda?
  2. how often do we want to check the metrics and provide an alert: daily?

• Regarding the alerts:

  1. Is a slack message on a channel ok for this?
  2. An alert would be risen when the latests post reach certain values, but we don't want to keep alerting every day of older posts (or do we?). If we want to know the details of older popular posts, we could create a database (google sheet) with the historical of the most popular posts. Once the posts get "old", the information goes to the database, and we stop alerting in slack. Would this be something we want?
  3. If so, when do we consider a post "old". 1 week? 2? once certain metric stops rising?
