💃 Model's Photoshoot Prep Checklist
🗓️ Shoot Date: [Date]
📍 Call Time: [Time - Arrive 15 mins early]
📸 Photographer/Brand: [Name]
🎨 Vibe/Brief: [e.g., High Fashion, Lifestyle, Commercial, Fitness]
🧖♀️ Phase 1: Maintenance (1 Week Out)
The foundation work. Do not try new skincare products this week.
- [ ] Hair Refresh:
- If you color your hair, touch up roots 5-7 days prior.
- If cutting, do it now (not the day before) to let it settle.
- [ ] Skincare Routine:
- Focus heavily on hydration.
- Exfoliate dead skin (face and lips) gently.
- DO NOT try new products that might cause a reaction.
- [ ] Hair Removal:
- Waxing should be done 3–4 days prior to allow redness to fade.
- Brows: Pluck/thread strays, but keep your natural shape unless instructed otherwise.
💅 Phase 2: The Details (48 Hours Out)
Polishing the look.
- [ ] Nails (Manicure & Pedicure):
- Unless a specific color was requested, go with Nude/Neutral or clear polish.
- Ensure nails are clean and shaped.
- [ ] Tanning (If applicable):
- If spray tanning, do it 2 days before so it settles evenly.
- Note: Many commercial shoots prefer natural skin tone—ask first.
- [ ] Practice Posing:
- Review the mood board sent by the brand.
- Practice facial expressions in the mirror (practice your "neutral" face and your "smile").
🎒 Phase 3: The "Model Bag" Essentials
The "Pro Kit." Keep this packed and ready. Even if the stylist brings clothes, you need the foundation.
