1.0 Introduction & Objectives

This document serves as the strategic roadmap for the testing phase of Sprint 1. Its purpose is to ensure all testing activities are aligned with business goals and user needs. The primary focus of this cycle is to validate the core functionalities of the GZTV fashion entertainment app. A secondary, limited assessment for a personal project, QUESTMAX (gamified productivity app), was also conducted in order to showcase defects. The exploratory testing for QUESTMAX was performed specifically to evaluate additional feature stability and identify potential bugs for demonstration and prioritization.

2.0 Scope

What's Being Tested:

GZTV: User Login (Active/Inactive Subscription flows), Logout, Video Playback (Start, Subtitles, AirPlay, PiP), Subscription Management (Billing, Post-Subscription Access), User Customization (Profile Photo), and Content Navigation ("Play Next" Back Button).

Out of Scope: Non-functional testing (Load, Performance, Security), and compatibility testing on non-iPhone devices.

QUESTMAX: Additional feature stability, including AI Chat Quest Creation and User Settings (Disable Level Progress).

3.0 Test Approach & Schedule

A hybrid approach will be used to ensure both coverage and the discovery of unforeseen issues.

Sprint 1: GZTV Smoke & Functional Testing

Validation of all defined test cases for core user journeys.

QUESTMAX Exploratory Testing

Unscripted investigation to uncover bugs in new features and complex user flows.

Tools Used: Jira, Zephyr Apple Screen Recorder

Sprint 2: GZTV Regression Testing

Re-validation of fixed bugs and existing functionality upon the GZTV update.
