MindWeave respects your thoughts and personal notes. This Privacy Policy explains what information MindWeave processes and when external services may be used.

1. Core Principle

MindWeave is designed to work primarily on-device.

Your notes, context, tags, AI insights, and related data are stored on your device. MindWeave does not operate its own server and does not collect or store your note contents on its own server.

2. Data Processed by the App

MindWeave may store the following data on your device to provide app functionality:

• Note content you create
• Context associated with notes
• Note titles
• Tags
• AI insights
• Information about the AI model used for analysis
• App settings
• External AI API keys
• In-app purchase status

Note data may be stored in the app’s internal database and as Markdown files on your device. External AI API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain.

3. AI Features and External AI Services

MindWeave uses Apple’s on-device capabilities as the default AI analysis option.

External AI APIs are used only when you explicitly select Gemini or OpenAI and enter your own API key. In that case, the following information may be sent to the selected external AI provider for analysis:
