I revisited my old deviantart accounts tonight (I made 3??) and oh man, I was really trying to outdo the modern LinkedIn folks in outputting embarrassing content in a public forum.
I've uploaded photography (let's use that term loosely for some of the photos) in various platforms since I was 14. While it's been very difficult to scroll through some of these without throwing myself off my bed, it's truly intriguing (& entertaining) to see where my head was at back then. I really do admire my past self for running with any idea I had on a certain day and just try to make something out of it. And I can pinpoint several phases in my photos, up to the point when I started making work I really liked. Trying to rekindle that spirit these days, to ease out on the carefulness.
If ya got anything fun from your early days on the internet—please share ^_^ would love to see it.

I did not.
This is the photo that inspired this post lmao. I am at peace with it now.
I was doing a 365 project. I'm pretty sure I just wanted to get a photo over with and go to bed.
I decided to do this when I turned 16. I made my mom hold the paper bless her
I wonder what my thought process was behind this photo (2011). The caption is not helpful: "I don t know what this is."
This was a part of my conceptual-photoshop-phase. I kinda still like these.
This is around the time when I felt like I found my groove ^_^ Near the end of high school.
Thanks for reading! I shall share more photos another time, and do a longer think on the topic.
