I am delighted, humbled, and nervous to announce my candidacy to be the ASUCI President for the 2021-2022 academic year. Thank you all for being so gracious to sit down and read about who I am, what my goals are, and how I envision these goals materializing at UCI. As I connect with more people across campus, I will be updating this site as I further develop the goals of my policies and platform to better reflect the challenges faced by you all on and off campus!

Through these past 3 years, I have seen the resilience of my fellow students at UCI and have also been dissatisfied by the lack of actions taken by those in leadership.
I am committed to fostering a culture at UCI that extends past this presidency. I see a drastic need for action: beyond simply denouncing racism, beyond giving a statement about the importance of educational equity, and beyond superficial posts of solidarity without any substantial follow up.

Regardless, all the candidates have great backgrounds and experiences that would make each a great leader in ASUCI and UCI at large. I’m thankful for the opportunity to run alongside such phenomenal candidates who all brought their passion, dedication, and love for UCI. I also want to acknowledge the land we stand on that was seized from the Acjachemen and Tongva peoples and my privilege as a university student to be given a platform and education on their ancestral lands.
