Description: Open source technical document with description of various metrics central to Exponent’s product offering (starting with Stablecoin Risk Factors). We’ll start with a Metrics Library.

Metrics Library → Data Dictionary → Database Schema (source of truth)
Definitions:
Metrics Library: Terms relevant to Exponent’s mission (e.g., treasury & risk management at scale in crypto), with a unique definition and can be cross-referenced with other terms. Primarily used to communicate Exponent’s products and services in governance proposals and conversation with stakeholders (i.e., prospective clients, community members, industry players). Inform KPIs we may develop around treasury and risk management. Cross-reference or point terms to data dictionary.
Data Dictionary: Detail data types, database columns, database tables related to each metric. Identify data source / data provider for metrics.
Goal: Have terminologies (and definitions) with a reference to database columns relating to each term. We’ll start with a metrics library, with an eye towards creating sufficient details for users to use in a governance proposal and look up our internal database table. Ultimately, we want a cross between Metrics Library & Data Dictionary.
