To carry out our study, we wanted to collect both quantitative and qualitative data. For this purpose, we created:

1. A questionnaire was disseminated via the international pro bono networks we knew (Global Pro Bono Network and Points of Light) as well as by e-mail to a database of intermediaries we had identified. The questionnaire was divided into two parts:

<aside> 💡 The questionnaire is open since January 2020. We started working on the analysis of the results in October 2020. As the questionnaire is still open for the inclusion of intermediaries in the mapping (see below), we did not include respondents after this date in the analysis. 74 respondents are therefore considered. The results have been rounded according to the Gaussian rule, i.e., digits after the decimal point between 0 and 4 are rounded down; between 5 and 9 are rounded up.

2. Interviews were conducted with intermediaries around the world to obtain qualitative data. These interviews were semi-directives and were conducted between April and September 2020. It is not anonymous as the interviewees allow us to better understand what their organisations are doing; it is their personal feeling, and we thank them for taking this time with us. We have therefore:

Thanks to the data collected, we were able to create different types of content:
