Messaging MVP Launch Functionality
The Direct Message functionality will give users a secure, private message to each other in order to make a connection and share details about giving/receiving help.
Start of conversation can begin in two ways: 1- From Profile with "Message" button.
2- From Post similar to FB or Nextdoor marketplace, where user begins exchange from Post (that is where they find each other). In this case, the subject line then comes from the Post Title as a basis for keeping track, and there should be a way to click back to the Post if someone needs to remember the details in the post.
Direct messaging allows users to connect within the FightPandemics platform itself instead of having the users use Facebook, LinkedIn, email, or another method to exchange private information. Otherwise, they must use publicly visible comments which does not promote trust or safety on the platform.
