From anywhere on your desktop, ⌘-U will open Mesh. Another ⌘-U will hide it until you need it again.
Use ⌘-U to quickly open mesh to run a command, and ⌘-U to quickly close it again. Mesh can appear anywhere on your desktop, seamlessly over the work you're doing, and out of the way when you don't need it.
If you're working with a team on Mesh, you can share your commonly used scripts with everyone.
To try that out, input the "Join Mesh team" command and enter past kitty
as the code. That should preload a set of scripts that was helpful for 1 particular team that we've worked with.

Mesh doesn't block you even if you start a web server or install some dependency that takes a few minutes to complete.
Instead, you'll see cards that keeps track of your running processes, while the terminal is always available for your next command.

Mesh is a shell, with utilities rewritten to make the terminal a web-first application.
We've designed every component of Mesh to be extensible with the same open, web-based technologies that made possible marketplaces like the Chrome Web Store. More on this soon.
