Leadership and mentorship are key components of the TRIANGLE program.

Effective mentorship is foundational to future career success, within and outside of academia. TRIANGLE members will have access to multiple forms of mentorship from TRIANGLE member faculty, from almost 100 members of CAG/CASL from across Canada (representing all provinces and all career stages), and from GI and liver researchers who are now pursuing successful careers in many areas of industry, government, non-profit, and entrepreneurship.

The College of Mentors, and their organization into the below categories, are preliminary and will continue to grow with the program. TRIANGLE awardees will have opportunity to select and be matched with mentors and mentorship groups on the basis of multiple areas of shared interest, expertise, and lived experience.

Mentoring is fluid and must adapt to the needs of mentees as they gather skills and knowledge that help their careers—and their career plans—evolve. TRIANGLE offers multiple mentorship modes that you can learn about below.
