Introduction

Mentor is an Ethereum ERC-20 service of the ICPDAO platform that strives to promote the utility and governance of ICPDAO through Mentor NFT and invitation of new ICPers. We achieve this by rewarding mentors on the ICPDAO platform with the marriage of NFT and a yield farming mechanism that aims to establish a relationship with their invited associates and earn a percentage of their rewarded tokens. With the starting cost of 0.05~0.2 ETH anyone who is an existing ICPer can participate. (subject to change)

The invited person becomes a pre-ICPer. It is the role of the mentor to organise and effectively help the pre-ICPer to understand how to use the ICPDAO system so they can become a contributor themselves and earn rewards from their organization with ICP (Issue, Commit and Pull Request). Once the pre-ICPer has been promoted to ICPer the mentor will continue to earn yield rewards based on the ICPer’s contributions.

Price

Every month the value of NFT will be adjusted in order to Mint. This is to allow mentors to receive exponential dividends on their investment and promote a high expected return on future products and services. Once the price increases there won’t be opportunities to get at a low price again.

In this way there is no outside influence to alter price and the price is capped. So early contributors will get the bigger reward. Newer ICPers would need to make bigger and larger contributions so they can afford to promote to mentor in this way.
