Are the working hours flexible? What if I have class or other commitments?
The working hours for the role are as follows:
The first half hour of each shift is devoted to setting up your account, sending your automated messages, and getting ready for the rest of your shift.
Mentors need to be available to text and chat with mentees during that time each day and for supervisory meetings. If your current class or other commitments conflict with these hours, being a Somethings Mentor might not be the best fit right now. You may request a deferment to start later if you have a temporary conflict, but start dates are ultimately adherent to our growth goals and slots available on the dashboard.
