If I could time travel and go back in time to advice the younger myself, the one advice I would give would be - Go out and find a MENTOR

You need a mentor when you have moved up in your career as much as when you are early in your career or just getting started. A mentor is someone with whom you can have a free flowing conversation on your career aspiration and challenges. They can advice you on how to chart your career path, navigate your career challenges, help to you protect and grow your skills and make better career decisions as they travelled through the same path and learned from their experience.

Career mentoring comprises of domain specific growth and broader growth as a professional. From my experience I have learned that no one mentor can get you everything you need as no career progression are same or linear.

Everyone travels differently to their career destination but its is worth learning from diverse perspectives about the journey
