In meeting 35 Samuel Armes will talk about his work on the Seminole County Decentralized Identifier as well his work in Florida passing legislation to promote the digital asset industry.

Samuel has an extensive background in the blockchain and government spaces. He did research for United States Special Operations Command on Bitcoin and counter threat finance, and similar research for the United States Department of State on cryptocurrency policy and blockchain technology. Samuel is currently the President of the Florida Blockchain Business Association (FBBA) and has passed four bills in the Florida legislature. He currently runs Tortuga Web3 Fund, a web 3 and blockchain focused fund, and runs major blockchain & cryptocurrency conferences around the state.
