📌
We're hiring a Mechanical Engineer to work alongside our senior engineers on the robotics and custom machinery behind our lithium-ion battery recycling operation. You'll own discrete pieces of work, see them through prototyping and testing, and grow your range across mechanical systems. The work is hands-on, varied, and you'll learn fast.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of mechanical design experience. Strong internships, master's projects, and personal builds count.
- You've designed components or sub-assemblies that have been built. Bonus if any of them shipped into production or a real test environment.
- Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, Onshape, or CATIA). Comfortable producing clean, dimensioned drawings for individual parts and small assemblies.
- Working knowledge of tolerancing and GD&T. You can apply it correctly when given the framework.
- Familiar with common manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, fabrication) and starting to design with them in mind.
- Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes. You know your way around a workshop.
- Strong problem-solving skills. You ask good questions and bring options, not just problems.
- Comfortable taking direction from a senior engineer, having your work reviewed, and iterating on feedback.
- Manages your own workload across two or three concurrent pieces of work.
- Genuine interest in sustainability and what we're building.
- Proactive and adaptable. Happy when things move quickly.
