Mechanical Engineer

Design and build the mechanical systems that power our autonomous construction robots.

Design mechanical components and assemblies in CAD with a focus on producability, reliability, and field serviceability.
Select and source components from suppliers to meet performance, cost, and timeline requirements.
Oversee in-house production and assembly, working hands-on to bring designs from drawing to reality.
Collaborate closely with electrical and software teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Test and validate designs in the lab and on active construction sites under real operating conditions.

2–5 years of industry experience in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
Strong CAD skills and experience designing for manufacturing and assembly.
Hands-on experience with component selection, sourcing, and supplier communication.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and comfortable working at the intersection of mechanical and electrical engineering.
Passion for building real hardware and testing it in demanding, real-world environments.
Clear communication in English (German is a plus).
