The Mechanic Cap is a relic obtained from frequenting the Mechanic.

From an item’s use menu, if upgradable, has an additional “Upgrade!” button. This allows you to upgrade any item at any time, but if it’s not in the Mechanic’s current stock it takes 1.5x the time to upgrade.
This relic can be useful if you want to upgrade a specific item. Batteries of course are a very good option for example, and if not available can be obtained at any time. The issue is, unfortunately, that as this is a relic it costs your relic slot for 12 hours.
To obtain the Mechanic Cap, you must have waited a total of 15 days across all mechanic orders. This is tracked as a stat, so you can see your progress.
Note: Using Murphy Points does not deduct total time waited.
