Relational imagineering sessions are events. Everyone comes with a partner—usually as a romantic couple but it's also possible to bring lifelong best friends, cofounders, etc.

At the event, people work in pairs, charting strong vibes and values in their relationships, and other vibes and values they'd like to explore more. For example, I might say my girlfriend and I are great at honesty, but we want to be more crazy together. (We call this list of strengths and areas for exploration a vibe chart.)

Then, based on these charts, participants recommend or make practices for each other, to explore these things. For example, my girlfriend and I could share our chart and people will say "you could do this crazy thing X together", etc.

Peering Groups

Some meaning potluck attendees may decide to form a "peering group" afterwards. A peering group is made 1, 2 or 3 relationships, with each one pledging to support the others in an ongoing way. A peering group might be made of three romantic pairs, two groups of cofounders, etc.

Each subgroup should know the vibes and values from the others' vibe charts, and should make recommendations and plans for the others in their group, to help them explore the vibes and values in the "explore" section of their chart.

Generally, peering groups form when both sides feel a productive exchange is likely, because they were impressed with each others' suggestions at the potluck, or they already know each other well.
