When cities began to be built by the deathbed of the pure Asolaris crew and the newly born Confederation. In this time, a handful of projects were created to build towns that could self-sustain but also provide food to the humans of the planet. This was mainly a project to compensate for the missing ship “The Seed” that had both materials for farms, animal clones, and of course, basic equipment for land moving. Project: Meadow was taken on, first making a town named Roland that would house workers and families until the work was done. The biggest issue ahead, the desert.

Cutting into the sand, and clay, dust storms would kick up as they went on through the future countryside. What they dug, a trenchline of canals. This was in hopes that they can one day feed into the farms planned out into the area. But the work was too difficult. Years had gone by, and other projects overlapped the area. Six more towns were built in this time. The Confederation had a need to push for city projects, and technology. So they abandoned the idea of expanding deep into the landbridge and further. But the people who waited, moved into the zones.

The seven total towns

Culture and Population

Total Population = 23,544 (Before) estimated 1600 now

The in between of the towns (Meadow) = 1,011 (Before) unknown now.

The areas not within the direct town limits or on the outskirts are considered “The Meadow”. These places were commercial farms and small homesteads. Canals from the sea ran deep into the harsh land. All of the fields that could yield food would be burned during the Pack’s reign of terror. This now leaves the fields in an ashy state. When flying over the ground appears tan from the grass and wheat growing, but looking down directly you see a sea of black. This is because of the soil being layered deep in ash. Burying many treasures and nightmares, in the lost place of The Meadow. Neighbors knew other neighbors, and then suddenly, there were no more neighbors. No one in the Meadow knew of the damage to the towns, nor that the bots were coming, then died in their homes as a consequence. No large structures have been found to have anything happening, and much of the time, if you were to drive in the fields you would hit a buried car or foundation.

The culture of that remained rural small town for many places, with few being built into larger cities. Most of life was a peaceful paradise in silence. Now nothing remains but pain and crime.

Roland

Population = 13,011 (Before), 1,000 estimated now. Roland was the one and only place nearly entirely untouched. It was the culture mix of all the towns, being the hub of trade for all of them. It had a mix of farm, growing small town, and port life. The town held celebrations often, everyone knew someone, it was peaceful to pass through or stay. Many were kind but would do anything for each other. The nearby Airfield brought many Confederate soldiers who fell in love with the culture of the town and swore to do as they could to protect it. By the time of the Robot March on Roland. No damage occurred, the Robots aimed to take out the airfield first. When the airfield was bombed the people of Roland returned home briefly from an evacuation to help the survivors and fully leave the town. They could have stayed but the Confederation had ruined the Meadow as much as the robots had, there were no crops to farm, nothing to export, and no joy to have. They moved out to other cities like Oasis, Pale City, and Coneda in hopes for a better future. In their place moved in a wave of criminals, ones who could no longer even hide within Oasis, they had families, hideouts, and more within the ghost town. It is also a place where the teenage youth who want a risk or party go to race, graffiti, and try out drugs and raves. The place is also home to wonderful sights of the seas, hills, and black ash wheat fields.
