Bio, briefly

Currently:

• Founded visual journalism publication The Pudding (see State of the Pudding 2019, 2018 and The Journalist Engineer)
• Founded visual storytelling agency Polygraph

Where I shine:

• I work on investigative projects that require heavy, data-led research. I produce these projects to reach readers by wielding animation, data visualization, and code.
• I build organizations, standing up 8-person The Pudding as a team, business, and creative entities.
• I started a data visualization studio, building Polygraph as an "in-house" data journalism agency, working with clients such as YouTube, Google News Initiative, and Universal Music Group. This includes everything from sales to coding the final project.
