How to Use (Step-by-Step)

  1. Select the object or prefab whose material IDs you want to prepare for texturing work.
  2. Open Material ID Mask Authoring Assistant from the Art menu and scan the target materials.
  3. Review or edit the generated ID colors for each unique material.
  4. Bake the ID preview to verify the flat-color separation is readable.
  5. Export the preview ID mask, UV-space ID texture, palette image, and JSON mapping so the color assignments can be reused downstream.
