This documentation shows step by step how to use the Material Vector Icon asset after importing this asset into your current project.
Material Vector Icon uses the material icon set available here and makes them easily usable in your projects. The advantage of using vector icons is that they can be scaled to whatever size you want without losing the quality. Now let's start adding your first vector icon!
To create a new Material Vector Icon right-click the hierarchy pane and choose "UI > Material Vector Icon".
Make sure the newly created icon has a parent of type Canvas. Otherwise you cannot see your icon in the editor window.
There are plenty of icons you can choose from. Just click on "Choose Icon" to open the icon picker and choose your desired icon.
Besides that you can search for icons by typing a keyword into the search field.
To change the icon color just click on the same named property in the inspector pane. That will open up the color picker where you can choose your favorite color.
