What is astrology?

Astrology is the studie of the relationship between time, destiny and the cosmos.

Which ancient state was the birthplace of the classical Western astrology?

The idea of us living in a caring universe presided over by gods and goddesses was born out of a human necessity to feel loved, chose, acknowledged and cherished.

What does the word “planet” mean?

It is derived from the Greek “planetes asteres” meaning “wandering stars”.

Why were the Sun and the Moon considered planets by the ancients?

Because of the apparent motion of the Sun and the real orbital motion of the Moon, both luminaries were considered to be “wandering stars”.

What is geocentrism? What is heliocentrism?

It is a view of the cosmos from Earth as if the Earth were the center of the cosmos. Conversely, heliocentrism is a model of the universe that references the Sun as the center around which the Earth and all the other planets revolve.

What does it mean that horary astrology is “divinational”?

Divination is the art and science of communicating with the divine by means of establishing symbolic language. In horary, our established symbolic language is the language of astrology itself. Horary astrology is a way of answering a question that a person has in the moment through interpreting the chart of the moment when the question is asked.

Why do we consider all branches of astrology to be question based?
