Marquee (“Marquee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a movie discovery and ranking app. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Marquee mobile application (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and authentication
If you sign in, we process information needed to create and secure your account, including:
- Identifiers from your sign-in provider (for example, a user ID from Sign in with Apple or Google).
- Email address and display name, when your provider shares them with us.
- Profile photo URL, when available from your provider.
Authentication and account security are handled using Google Firebase Authentication (see Section 5).
2.2 Profile and app data stored with us
We may store a user profile in our backend (Firebase) that can include:
- Your user ID, email, display name, and profile image reference (including a provider profile photo URL when you sign in with Apple or Google, if your provider shares one).
- Profile photos you choose: If you pick a photo from your device photo library, we may upload that image to our storage (Firebase Storage) and store a URL on your profile so we can show your avatar to you and, when you use social features, to friends you connect with in the App.
- Account creation time and premium status flags as used by the App.
