We need fine grained permissions based on conditional roles/permissions/credentials. E.g. only users with verified .edu emails could access a dataset, or under specific terms. Obviously we'd incorporate DAO roles and other custom gating functions into our own front end but sounds like the cavalry might be coming to save us on backend support.

Concerns raised by community members given existing challenges in the cannabis IP space led us to looking at possible workarounds & how to integrate data access with DAO governance since last year.

This has even caused some friction in community growth so we've backed off there until our MVP tech stack is fully locked in. If these features were baked into Ocean that'd be wonderful.
