Role Overview

GenUnity is seeking a dynamic communicator who will help us tell the story of GenUnity’s work to strengthen the ‘civic wellbeing’ of diverse, everyday adults in Boston and beyond. The Marketing & Communications Associate will partner with GenUnity’s Chief of Staff, CEO, and the broader team to elevate the impact stories of our members and partners and to increase visibility and awareness around our organization and programs.

The Marketing & Communications Associate should resonate deeply with GenUnity’s core values; be an effective written and oral communicator; and be comfortable with marketing media, including social media, newsletters, blogs, etc.

You will develop a rigorous strategy & execution skillset that’s transferrable to any sector, including strategic thinking, project management, partnership development, measurement & evaluation, and communication. You will report directly to and receive coaching from GenUnity’s Chief of Staff and be an integral part of a high impact, up-and-coming social enterprise.

Program Communications

Work with Chief of Staff, CEO, program team, and partners to publicize member recruitment and share success stories from our programs.

Organizational Storytelling and Thought Leadership

Collaborate with co-founders to share our organizational vision, mission, and progress with broader GenUnity community, including members, partners, and funders.
